Welcome

Welcome to Eugnath® Whitening in Munich

Dear Patients,

The “right bite”: beautiful, healthy and bright white teeth are considered the number one feature of attractiveness.
A good first impression fosters a positive atmosphere . The decision of whether we consider a person likeable or not is often made within seconds. A critical aspect of this decision, commonly the first one we perceive, is the smile of our counterpart. A friendly, self-confident smile not only reveals bright, healthy teeth, it enhances the quality of our lives by improving our interactions with others.

As dentists specialized in the field of orthodontics, we are committed to providing you with life-enhancing comprehensive services for healthy teeth. For this reason, we offer our clients professional, in-office whitening.

Our patients can choose either a whitening procedure with the LED light-activated Zoom! whitening system, or the Opalescence Boost® system, without LED light activation. We expertly administer both systems to our patients so that each patient can attain the best results. Moreover, we’re here to answer any questions you may have about the procedures and tooth whitening in general. Please feel free to contact us at any time with your questions, desires or concerns.

FAQ

What is whitening?

Whitening is a process that lightens stains on the enamel and dentin of the teeth. With the Philips ZOOM! procedure, a whitening gel is first applied to the teeth. A LED light is then used to activate the gel and increase its effectiveness.

What causes tooth discoloration?

Teeth can become discolored for many reasons. The most common causes include natural aging of the teeth, as well lifestyle factors, such as the consumption of coffee, tea, cola, red wine and nicotine. Certain medications, medical conditions, tooth damage or root canal fillings may also cause discoloration.

Who can benefit from whitening?

Overall, most patients obtain successful results with a whitening treatment, however, the degree of lightening achieved varies from patient to patient, depending on the structure of their teeth. There are some discolorations which a whitening procedure can’t correct, for example, if the darkened areas developed as a result of taking certain medications. By thoroughly pre-examining your teeth, your dentist will be able to tell you if the procedure is right for you.

Is the procedure safe?

Yes! Many comprehensive scientific and clinical studies have concluded that whitening with hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, when administered by a dental practitioner, is completely safe for teeth and gums. Many dentists consider whitening to be the safest cosmetic dental procedure available. Contact the Eugnath Whitening Team Munich for more information on the safety of this procedure.

How does it work?

During your visit, your dentist will apply a whitening gel to your teeth. As the active ingredient in the gel breaks down, oxygen penetrates the enamel and dentin of the teeth, lightening the discolored substances without damaging the structure of the teeth.

How long does it take?

A whitening procedure at the dental practice can be completed in a single visit (approximately 1.5 hours) with a maximum of 4 whitening applications, each lasting 15 minutes.
